Prisoners’ Aid Association of NSW has released its Statement of Income and Expenditure for the year ended 30 June 2013, reporting a healthy operating surplus.

- Interest & Dividends: $2,802 combined
- Profit on Sale of Capital Items: $627
Expenses
- Client Assistance: $9,243
- Other Expenses: $402,550
- Salaries: $220,408 (largest single expense)
- Rent: $78,154
- Motor Vehicle Expenses: $21,910
- Depreciation: $15,756
- Superannuation: $19,863
When combined, total expenditures reached $411,793.
Overall Result
- Operating Surplus: $15,343
By keeping its operational costs in check while sustaining strong funding from Corrective Services NSW, the Association closes 2012/13 on a positive note. This surplus further bolsters Prisoners’ Aid NSW’s capacity to support individuals transitioning out of the justice system.
